In all projects we offer the client the option of including equipment supplied by leading brands in each field for motors, valves, instruments, etc. at competitive prices and with a guarantee that all specifications will be met.

All the engineering details for the automation project are decided on site:

• Plans of electrical boxes and control cabinets
• Control loops
• Specification sheets
• Lists of cables
• Lists of users
• Plans of earth network, etc.

According to the project specifications, we design the cabinets which, once constructed, are tested following our verification protocol.

In certain automation projects of particular difficulty or short completion term or because it is keys in hand, we are able to carry out the electrical and instrumentation setup, thanks to our staff with more than 15 years experience supervising works, which guarantees a successful termination both in quality and execution period.

Our company has extensive experience in this particular area of business and we work with the support of some of the leading manufacturers in the automation field. Our aim is that the results of our implementation and investigation can be applied to the innovation and development of industrial processes.

We collaborate with the leading companies in Spain, mainly in the food, energy and chemical fields, e.g. ABB, Scneider and Siemens.

Different communication networks may be present in automation projects, using either copper wire or optical fibre:

• Profibus
• Profibus PA
• ASi
• Profinet, etc

For this reason, Proacit’s internal training programme pays special attention to keeping up to date with new communication networks, protocols, etc.

After training in the U.S.A., we have a specific department for the implementation of plant information systems. Our experience includes over 40 installations in both Europe and other continents. By means of these systems, we are able to visualise process information on PCs, PDAs or via the Internet in real time.

We have made implementations where interfaces have been installed and configured which allow data acquisition from systems as diverse as Schneider (Citect), Siemens (S7-400, S7-300, WinCC, PCS7), ABB (XA800), Yokowaga (CS3000), Emerson (DeltaV), Honeywell, RNI and Foxboro.

The communication protocols used to connect to the different systems were via Ethernet (TCP/IP), Profibus, Rs232, in Modbus Rs232, Modbus TCP/IP and our own.

The set-up teams adapt to the characteristics of each project and may include both technical personnel and field staff (electrical or instrument engineers).

In our installations we have a fully-equipped training room, where specific and personalised training is given to each client, principally with regard to automaton control and the data acquisition system.

The training frequently forms an integral part of the project and is intended mainly for operators and maintenance personnel.

Proximity and permanent contact with our client allows us to offer services such as 24/7 on-call and on-site or remote technical help with the PLCs, control systems or IT equipment.
